The Beautiful Life

Are you going to watch this? Mischa Barton (Sonja Stone–Diva much??) is back playing a model who tries to return to the spotlight. I saw the first trailer and thought that the story would be wrapped around her. Then I saw the extended trailer and it’s more about Sara Paxton and Ben Hollingsworth. I might watch a few episodes for the glitz and glamour factor but I think that I am getting too old for boy- meets-girl-they-struggle-together-fall-in-love drama.

Zac Posen and Elle Macpherson are both in the cast and it’s a series by Ashton Kutcher.

Chick Flick: Confessions of a Shopaholic

I just finished reading the book. Now I want to see the movie. Isla Fisher looks so adorable. I am soooo Rebecca Bloomwood (nix the debt)! The styling is quite colourful and outrageous. Borderline tacky. She looks a walking rainbow.

The Rebecca Bloomwood in the book seems chic and stylish. I guess her funky outfits are meant to match the tone of the movie. Still, I think that it will be a fun movie to watch. A lot of bright EYE CANDY that I would like to wear, just not together. Although, I am getting a little sick of the girl-tries-to-get-her-foot-in-the-fashion-magazine-world tag line (The Devil Wears Prada, Ugly Betty).
