I am currently searching for a pair of silver sandals for my friend Cat’s wedding. I’ll be bearing an a-line aubergine dress that will slightly below the knees. I found these shoes from Spring but I think that it will not go too well with the dress.

The style of the shoe is kind of in the sophisticated/urban/sexy scale. I’d love to wear this with a military inspired dress (hello Mr. Marc Jacobs) or a silk/jersey jumpsuit with the pant legs rolled or folded up mid calf.

Budget Fashion Find: Dressy Sandals

Want to add instant glam to an otherwise boring outfit? It’s all about the shoes, baby. Forget your runners or messy flip flops. Whenever I feel that my outfit is sort of on the drab site (think going to the grocery store, laundry and the sort of thing that people wear to run errands and such), I love turning to dressy slides to add instant an instant oomph factor. Also, if you’re not in the mood to wear heels these are a life saver. They tend to be more comfortable for walking. When I wear super high heels I like to keep a pair of dressy slides in the car or in my bag because I know at the end of the night when my feet are killing me, a pair of slides will be my life saver.
