Jeanne Lottie Fall 2009
I received my first Jeanne Lottie bag as a gift about 10 years ago. It was a chic straw tote with long handles. I still have and use it to this day. It is such a summer essential and it goes with every outfit that I wear every summer.
I really like Jeanne Lottie. The designs are modern and feminine. My 2 loves when it comes to accessories.
Here are some of my favourites from the Fall 2009 collection. I love this collection because you can use it for many, many seasons to come.

A 2-in-1 bag. This tote also doubles as a clutch. This is my favourite from the collection!
This satchel would make a perfect weekend bag. I love the pop of colour!

Sweet Valley High for Smart Set
I was looking through Smart Set’s newest additions and I saw this gingham blouse that reminded me of Elizabeth Wakefield. Do you remember reading the series? Back then I thought that the books were the coolest thing and I was always amazed at how grown-up the characters were. I mean who stays out all night at 16? I really enjoyed the books but I don’t think that I will let my future kids read the series. Their view of reality was warped. I was a bit disturbed about how some of the characters were considered to be one of the untouchables and were considered “abnormal” if they did not fit the Leave-it-to-Beaver/Sweet-Valley prototype. Anyway, enough about my Sweet Valley beef. This is a fashion blog so let’s focus on fashion.
So I’ve decided to dress The Wakefield twins, Lila Fowler, and Enid Rollins in some of Smart Set’s newest duds for school.

Are you going to watch this? Mischa Barton (Sonja Stone–Diva much??) is back playing a model who tries to return to the spotlight. I saw the first trailer and thought that the story would be wrapped around her. Then I saw the extended trailer and it’s more about Sara Paxton and Ben Hollingsworth. I might watch a few episodes for the glitz and glamour factor but I think that I am getting too old for boy- meets-girl-they-struggle-together-fall-in-love drama.
Zac Posen and Elle Macpherson are both in the cast and it’s a series by Ashton Kutcher.

Madonna for Louis Vuitton Fall 2009
Wow! Her Madgesty looks amazing. I would like to look her when I reach my 50’s. I love the fall ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. She looks so girly, fun and I am liking the saturated colours (she overshadows the bag. I did not even notice it. It’s all about her:-) ). But I think that I’ll skip the bunny ears and save it for Halloween or New Years. I am thinking glam ears encrusted with Swarovski crystals. Oooh Ahhh!
