One of the shopping perks that Club Monaco offers are in the form of free services and a discount. I’ve presented my student card when I shop and I always get a 20% discount on my entire purchase. Sweet! They also offer free pant hemming, personal shopping services, private party shopping and flexible hours. I am not sure how that works exactly (maybe calling ahead of time to let them know that you want to shop(?)). I wish more stores offered shopping services like Club Monaco.
Club Monaco is selling coloured aviators for $79 a pop. I like the pink and grey/green pair. I have yet to see them in-store but if you’re looking for a pair of Aviators but can’t get Gucci, Prada or Dior this summer these are a decent alternate. I am not sure if I can get away with a pair. I think they tend to look really good on chiseled, square or oval face shapes. I am thinking models on billboard with aviators. I’ve always thought that smaller face shapes did not work well with aviators. Guess I was wrong. Mary Kate (or is it Ashley) Olsen looks good in one.

And who can forget Tom Cruise as Maverick in Top Gun. I saw the movie when I was 7 years old and I know it’s cheesy but Tom had me at hello. *Sigh*
