Celebrity Style – Holiday Party Hair Ideas from Allure

Taylor Swift:

Make a deep side part. Wrap two-inch sections of hair around a one-inch curling iron. Once you’ve curled your entire head, pull all the hair toward the nape of your neck, covering your ears. Flip the ends under and pin them in so that the hair maintains its bobbed shape.

Kate Hudson:

Start with a deep side part. Using randomly sized pieces, French-braid the larger section of the hair beginning at the hairline. Once the braid reaches the nape, combine it with the section of hair from the other side, anchoring into a low bun.

Kim Kardashian:

Pull blow-dried hair into a high ponytail with a paddle brush. (If you have bangs, smooth them down with a round brush while drying.) Flatiron the tail, then use a dab of serum to add shine.

Rachel McAdams:

Spritz a volumizer at the roots, then blow-dry the hair roughly. Tease the hair from forehead to crown and smooth the top layer of hair over. French-braid from the center middle of the head to the ends. Secure with an elastic band.

Blake Lively:

Let hair fall naturally for a messy, zigzag part. Wrap five- to six-inch sections around a large, clamp-free iron to create haphazard curls. Finish with a spritz of saltwater spray, then finger-comb.

Celebrity Style: Reese Witherspoon Beauty Tips

One of America’s leading ladies graces the cover of Glamour Magazine’s January cover.

On how getting older makes her feel sexier…
“I think as a woman, you get older, you feel more confident in your sexuality. You’re not as intimidated by it, not as embarrassed by it. Sexuality and femininity is an accumulation of age and wisdom and comfort in your own skin. I feel better—so much better now than I ever did in my twenties. I am calmer; I know who I am. And as a result, I feel much sexier.”

On women in Hollywood…
“There’s always going to be somebody younger or sexier. That’s why I like to say, and it’s become my famous line, ‘Funny doesn’t sag.’”

Reese Witherspoon Beauty tips:

Line your eyes with sparkly gold shadow for a sexier look this holiday season. Easy and low maintenance!

Use a different color on your top and bottom lid for an eye-catching effect. I tried this look and I loved it!
