The last time I bought a pair of runners was in high school. Yep, it was a looooong time ago. T wants to get rid of my beloved runners but I will have none of it. The hoarder in me kicks in when he suggests that we should get a new pair. I am sure that when he sees this post, he’ll use the discount as an excuse to go shopping. Not going to happen!
If you plan on shopping at Smart Set, receive a $25 free savings pass with every $50 (before taxes) that you spend. This promotion is valid on selected regular priced styles.
You have to redeem the savings pass within a time period. This is a great deal, especially if you plan on shopping there for your spring/summer wardrobe. Who can say no to free store credits? I love freebies!
Save 25% on Smart Set’s Greatest Hits collection. I personally love the collection because it is youthful and wearable. The modern trench is just so perfect in that blue hue and the screen tee is adorable!
Add some subdued sparkle to your outfit with these affordable ethnic-inspired metal toned necklaces. These will look fantastic with v-neck/low neck tops, smokey eyes and nude lips.
This is such a fun dress! It reminds me so much of disco days from the 70’s. The dress is covered with champagne sequins (how delicious!) and it can be worn in soooo many ways. With black hose and heels, like the model. Belted, with boots, and a blazer. Over leggings and flats for a more casual look or with bare legs, strappy heels, dangling earrings (hoops maybe?) and a loose loose chignon for a more sophisticated approach.
Old Navy Canada is having a massive denim sale on now until March 4, 2010. They’re basically matching the US sale prices for jeans so for us Canadians it means more savings!
Adult jeans are selling for $19 and kids jeans are selling for $12.
It’s been a while since I bought a pair of jeans so I might drop by to see the selection. I can’t wait to see what I find in-store!
From Seventeen Magazine. More ways on how to wear a scarf. I love collecting scarves. Especially long thin ones. There are so many ways to wear them. I like to use scarves as hair, neck, waist and bag accessories.
I’ve been trying to add more natural and affordable products to my skin care routine. I basically don’t want to spend hours at night prepping my skin (I used to spend at least 2 hours while I watch tv, getting my face ready for bed) so I am currently looking at a lot of 2-in-one products.
When I went to visit my aunt in San Francisco I discovered witch hazel. My aunt used it for everything. Witch hazel has anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties that make it perfect for people who suffer from break outs. I wanted to find a witch hazel solution that was alcohol free and was not too harsh on my skin.
Thayers Rose Petal Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Formula Toner will make your skin bloom. Rose Thayer’s remarkably soothing Toner is made with rose-petal water, Vitamin E and our proprietary Witch Hazel extract.
I use this product to cleanse and tone my face. I prefer things to be unscented but I don’t mind the light rose smell. I like this product because it soothes and cleans my face. Most of all it does not leave my skin feeling dry. I have not tried to remove make up with it yet so I am not sure how effective it will be.
The item can be purchased online for $13.99 (free shipping in Canada) and there is also a lavender option (I am going to try this next time)
Besides keeping acne away from my face I also use the toner in place of regular deodorant. Wet a cotton ball or pad and apply directly to your underarms. So far so good!
Bluenotes is offering 2 tanks for the price of $10. Tanks are such a staple so it is always nice when it goes on sale. You can pretty much wear them all year. With tanks it’s all about layering. I really like the look of 2 or 3 tanks layered on top of each other.
They have a few striped tanks that are really cute!
Get 20% off your Payless purchase upon presentation of the in-store coupon. I love going to Payless for inexpensive trendy styles. If I don’t see myself wearing an item for more than a season I usually go the cheap route instead of dropping serious cash on shoes. Payless also carries classic styles that can go for many seasons. I have a pair of wood-style thong sandals that I bought from Payless years ago that I still wear up to this day.
When you get the chance, check out the collection to see the newest styles for spring.
