Tuesday, February 9th, 2010If you are a size L today is your lucky day! I found this fantastic one shoulder dress that can be work in so many ways! With tights, skinny jeans and even a short skirt (with some adjustment). The dress also comes in a peach-coral version but I think that the black version is hotter.

Friday, February 5th, 2010The Sexy Little Black Dress
Monday, February 1st, 2010When I saw this dress I thought of the 90’s and Melrose Place. The strappy dress was big back in the early to mid-nineties. As a kid growing up I really wanted to own and wear the little black dresses that I saw on TV.
This dress by Armani Exchange is definitely fits in the sexy little black dress category. There are LBDs that are appropriate for different occasions based on the design. This LBD certainly screams DATE DRESS!
For a sophisticated look wear with stilettos, red lipstick, pearl or diamond stud earrings with a classy up-do.
For a more casual look add a pair of strappy, flat-sandals in a metallic colour. Keep your hair casual and make up subtle.
Armani Exchange Cross front dress $98.00
(If you have a toned back and shoulders, this dress is going to look super fabulous on you!)

Thursday, November 19th, 2009Gossip Girl Fashion: Where to Buy Blair Waldorf’s Clothes
I apologize in advance, you must be all sick of Blair Waldorf. But I can’t get enough of her style. I looooove it!
If you love the way she dresses as much as I do or if you want a piece of Blair’s style. You’re in luck! CW has an online e-store where you can purchase items that your fave GG wears from the episodes. The prices are varied. Some things are super affordable while others are on the pricey side.

Holiday Sparkle: Christmas Parties
Wednesday, November 18th, 2009Holiday Sparkly: Christmas Parties
Every year I ask myself the same question. What am I going to wear to the holiday/Christmas party at the office. I really love holiday parties. The good food, everyone is relaxed, the dancing, people smiling, having a good time and everyone looks so fantastic. My only beef is that most people wear head-to-toe black. I think that the holidays is the perfect time to take advantage of the jewel tones, beautiful sparkle and to have fun when it comes to your outfit.
Here are some colours/looks that I would like to see:
So please, try to avoid being decked out in black from head to toe (even though black is fab!). It’s a holiday party and not a funeral! If you absolutely must wear black, try adding a pair of ethnic-inspired earrings, shoes in jewel-toned silk or satin, or a beaded shawl. Accessories are heaven-sent!
To update last year’s holiday party outfit try wearing wearing a blazer, a wrap or cardigan in a pretty colour with pearls or this season’s jewelry trends. Another idea is to your everyday suit and pair it with a pretty satin or silk camisole, evening shoes and sparkly jewels. If you are not in the mood for dresses, you can always pair the standard pencil skirt with a festive top.
On another note, red and green in Christmas hues should be avoided. Too cliche. Also, since it is an office party it is important to avoid super short hemlines, peek-a-boo undies, anything see-through and backless dresses (unless the dress is quite conservative and the back is the main feature).
