I am still looking for a pair of shoes to wear to my friend’s wedding. I am drooling over these gold leather, Italian-made shoes. It’s too bad they don’t carry my size and they’re not silver-toned. Other than that these shoes are gorgeous and at that price (OMG!), what a deal!

You all know how much I love the lace trend. I absolutely adore this maxi-dress. I think that it is perfect to wear for weddings, over dinner, to a party, almost anything really. I would wear this with wedge heels and a gold cuff bracelet. A cluster of transparent beads might work or a pair of dangling earrings as well. It would look great with hoops and fitted jacket. Denim maybe to dress it down? It will work with a blazer as well.

I think that the overall effect is very sophisticated. Maxi dresses work well with taller frames but with a pair of heels or platforms, us petite women can do some serious damage as well.

Another shop that I recommend if you’re planning a trip to the States is Charlotte Russe. The clothes are young, feminine, fun and affordable. Right now I am loving the corsets, flats and stud earrings. They offer really cute basic flats for less than $20.00 and right now a lot of the in-store jewelry is on sale for $8.00 (for 2 items!) and many, many more so you have to drop by a store if you see one. The deals are excellent!
