She looked classy and chic. I also saw Samantha Jones from an episode of Sex and the City wearing a blue suit with this style and I thought that she looked amazing in this trend from the 80′s. But then again, it’s Samantha Jones and she can pull almost anything.

Peplums are big this spring but I have mixed feeling about this trend. I think that it will look fantastic with the right skirt or pants but it can also be very unforgiving. I think that this will look especially flattering on slim gals however you don’t need to be a size 0 to wear this trend. The style flares at the hips so it is best to balance the look out with pants or skirts that are on the slim, straight cut side. I personally think that a skirt with some fullness will  also work. Maybe a pleated skirt? But not too full or else you risk looking like a human triangle from the waist down.
