Gossip tidbit: Someone once told me that Paris Hilton’s personality is an act. This particular person who relayed the message to a friend of mine got a chance to meet Paris and they said that she’s quite serious. I seriously want to invade her closet and I am loving that oversize sequined chain bag in the video. She’s right. It will look AMAZING with jeans and a tee.

Step 1 – Choose colour depending on lip tone. Pale lips – coral or cherry red, reddish lips – hot pink orange or cranberry shade, dark lips – brick red or burgundy shade.

Step 2 – Prep. Pat a dab of eye cream on the lips for better absorption.

Step 3 – Apply. Slide slanted part of lipstick across centre of bottom lip. Use finger or brush to get it on your whole lip.

Step 4 – Distribute colour using short feathery strokes. If the colour is too bright dab excess off with tissue.

Step 5 – Set. Choose a pencil that is the same colour. Trace and fill in your lips.

Step 6 – Add a pastel pink or pink blush to your cheeks. Bright lips on its own can wash you out. finish with mascara.

Step 1 – Exfoliate.

Step 2 – Prep by applying moisturizer to help self-tanner glide.

Step 3- Wear latex gloves. Apply self-tanners and start at your ankles and work your way up.

Step 4 – Buff with your hands

Step 5 – Work on hands and feet. Wipe off excess formula with baby wipes

Step 6 – Maintain your colour by moisturizing the next day.  Add some self-tanner to your moisturizer and apply daily.

For first time users, dilute self-tanner with your moisturizer to try out the colour

For an instant evening glam effect, apply a self-tanner with glitter to your legs for a shimmer effect.

For the face, only use self-tanner that is specifically designed for that area

This is a lovely bohemian-inspired hairstyle that is perfect for summer, prom or weddings. You can use fabric such as satin, silk or velvet to add a romantic effect. I think that flower and crystal embellishments gives the hairstyle an ethereal feel.

I am not sure if I can do this on my own so a second pair of hands will definitely help.

Channel the 40’s and create a pin curl hairstyle for prom. All you need is a handful of hair pins, flex hold spray and a pretty hair accessory. Clips or a hairband will do.

To save time you can just put up pin curls near your face and use the curling iron on the rest of your hair. This look is so lovely, romantic and quite simple.

This will come in handy when you need to put your hair up and you don’t have any elastics around.  Plus it looks so chic and has this hot teacher sexiness about it. Seriously, add a crisp white shirt and a pair of dark jeans and you’re set!

The video below shows how to contour with cream and powder blushes.  I like both methods but the powder version works better for me because my skin is a bit more on the oily side. Cream options does wonders for drier skin types.

I like everything that she mentioned except for the flannel suggestion (ick!).

They’re decorative bra straps that replace unsightly bra straps. They’re functional and pretty. They come in beads, pearls, rhinestones, pretty fabric etc and is affordable (prices start at $12). I want to get everything! The only thing is that you have use them with a good supportive bra. The straps are sold as strap jewelry and not as support straps. No matter. Good bye clear straps and hello my prettys!

The cat eye look was made popular by Edie Sedgwick and is worn by today’s hottest celebs like Angelina, Beyonce and Paris.

It is best to wear neutral make up along with cat eyes. Nude lips and just a touch of shimmer seems suffice. I find that too much make up or bright lips gives off a clown-like and messy effect.

The video below makes it look so easy!

It looks easy enough and the stylist gives a lot of tips. I never knew that you can just curl the top middle part of your hair and leave the rest as is. I’ve always thought that with hot rollers you have to do the entire head to get a unified look.

I really like the end result and the model looks great! I think that I’ll try to recreate the look for Valentine’s Day.
