The last time I bought a pair of runners was in high school. Yep, it was a looooong time ago. T wants to get rid of  my beloved runners but I will have none of it. The hoarder in me kicks in when he suggests that we should get a new pair. I am sure that when he sees this post, he’ll use the discount as an excuse to go shopping. Not going to happen!

I am currently searching for a pair of silver sandals for my friend Cat’s wedding. I’ll be bearing an a-line aubergine dress that will slightly below the knees. I found these shoes from Spring but I think that it will not go too well with the dress.

The style of the shoe is kind of in the sophisticated/urban/sexy scale. I’d love to wear this with a military inspired dress (hello Mr. Marc Jacobs) or a silk/jersey jumpsuit with the pant legs rolled or folded up mid calf.

The last time I owned a pair of Converse was in elementary school. I’ve always thought that it was a “sports” type of shoe. So when I attended the spring preview for the line I was so surprised that the brand carried a lot of fun and funky designs.

I think that Converse is the perfect fun accessory to add some fun to a casual weekend outfit. I really like the pop art collection. It is soooo cool! Seriously!  I would love to give a pair to a fashionable momma or a fun and stylish grandma. Heck I want one this collection for myself.
