Beauty Review: Marcelle Essentials 1st Wrinkles Eye Contour Cream + Contest
WHAT:
Marcelle Essentials 1st Wrinkles Eye Contour Cream
THE PROMISE:
From the website:
“Prevent the first signs of aging with this ultra-light and non-sticky cream that penetrates skin instantly; allowing you to apply your make-up immediately.”
“Enriched with high performance ingredients, this unique care will increase micro-circulation, reducing puffiness and dark circles. It deeply moisturizes and protects the delicate eye contour area.”
PRICE:
$27.50 CAD for 15 ml
PROS:
An eye cream that does it all! Hypo-allergenic and perfume free. Affordable price
CONS:
The light texture might not be suited for really dry skin. The pump also dispenses a little too much per application and you end up getting more than you need. With eye cream, I find that a very little amount is suffice.
THE VERDICT:
This is a good start-up cream that battles the first signs of aging for people who want to kick start their skin care routine. The cream provides hydration (it got rid of my dry lines
and combats fine lines, puffiness and dark circles. I don’t think that this cream will cure everything but as a basic eye cream, I think that this is a very good choice. It has a gel-cream texture so this is suitable for people with normal and combination skin.

I haven’t tried anything other than the Marcelle eyeshadow so i will post a budget beauty tip that works for me. Vaseline, it is super cheap and works great on dry skin and put it around your eyes when you sleep and it elminates lines. I heard this tip from Tyra Banks. Lol.

Marcelle’s Gentle Make-Up Remover for sensitive eyes is amazing. The first one I’ve found that does not sting. And it works on waterproof mascara…love it!

I have never tried Marcelle before, but here’s a beauty tip: after taking a shower, immediately rub body lotion on yourself. It seals in moisture, very important since now it’s winter time and the air is dry.

I’ never had the chance to try marcelle because none of the stores have it around where I live…so my favourite beauty tip is to clean brushes after use to keep them soft and make them last longer

love Marcelle’s lipgloss. it’s a great deal and you only need a little to last a long time. it’s not sticky at all and leaving your lips really moisturize at the same time.

I have used quite a few of their products over the years and love how clean they are. My favourite product though would have to be their eyeshadow – especially the navy blue/silver combination. I would love to try the antiwrinkle eye cream!

My favorite budget makeup tip is to stack coupons to purchase my makeup at London Drugs. I’ve also discovered that you can create a simple lip gloss to match your makeup my combining vaseline and different powdered blush shades. This is very simple and it costs $0 if you use things you already have at home!
