If you love scarves like I do then you will love Kailash. Located inside the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, this place is the IT place for affordable scarves in beautiful fabrics. I bought a couple of pashmina scarves in Prague a few years ago for a pretty penny (I thought that I was getting a good deal!) and I am so glad that I found an even better place. I can’t wait to start adding to my collection again. The scarves are priced from $5 – $200 (depending if it’s hand woven, beaded, etc.) so it will fit every budget. Kailash carries scarves in cashmere, cotton, pashmina, silk and many more.
If you’re looking for a fantastic gift for the holidays, this is one place that you should trek to. I was told that they stock up on a monthly basis. Kailash is a family owned-business and they import directly from the manufacturer so the price points are super affordable. If you’re planning to buy gifts from there, hurry because the selection won’t be as good closer to the holidays.
I just bought myself a super gorgeous violet-hued scarf in a raw, thai silk material. Doesn’t that sound delicious? The scarf is soooo soft and pretty. I love it so much. And the best part is that I only paid $15! I’ve seen silk scarves in high-end boutiques and the prices are enough to make me faint. So I am so happy that I found this little shop.
