I never knew that the super talented and beautiful Martha Stewart was a model in the 60s. I’ve always admired her for her vision, success, passion and elegance.

Absolutley love these pictures of Martha back in the days! Although I adore everything she does I think it’s a little unfair of her to say that women today can’t do what she did.
Not even she would have been able to get where she is without a great amount of luck and factors beyond her control – having the looks to model, getting married young and not having to support herself alone, living in a time where you quite easily could get a job and a place to live. Miss Martha is awsome and of course deserves all of her success but I find it a bit insulting when superstars aren’t willing to admit that their success isn’t just because of their determination. A lot of people work hard, hard all their lives and don’t end up billionairs.
